I hope you all had a great weekend. My poor hubby was sick with a stomach bug, so we didn't do a whole lot this weekend after all. I'm glad to report he's much better now!
Today is the 1st day of my son's school track break. His school has changed to a year round school to help with overcrowding. There are 5 different tracks in the school, which means one track is out on break at all times. It can get confusing, trust me. Anyhow, since he won't have a 3 month long summer break anymore, we're making mini bucket lists for each track break instead of our big summer bucket list we do every year. Let's see how it goes for us this month! I'll be sharing more on this later this week. Any other parents out there have children in year round school? I'd love some advice!
Running is coming along well and I'm super excited to run my first half marathon. Here's last week's training recap:
Tuesday: I hr strength training with personal trainer + 2 miles on the treadmill (10:38 pace)
Wednesday: 4 miles on the treadmill (10:45 pace) & stretching
Friday: 5.57 miles outside (11:01 pace)
Saturday: REST I wanted to do a 30 min. in-home workout but the hubs was sick with a stomach bug so I didn't get the chance to do it.
Sunday: 10.50 miles outside (11:32 pace)
Total Miles: 22.07
