Week 3 of Half Marathon Training | Recap

Last week was not too eventful in my world of training.  We planned a getaway to Southern California for a 3 day weekend with the kiddos before Diego starts school next week.  The getaway was a bust (more on that tomorrow) and the run I had planned for Sunday just didn't happen.  
I'm glad I still have 13 weeks before the marathon in November, so I'm not stressing yet.  I really need to start focusing on my runs though.  I know things won't always turn out as planned especially with kiddos!  I will have to find ways to get my runs in no matter what and/or find the energy and motivation to go when I'm tired.  Any runners out there have tips on how to work in your runs or just coping when life gets turned upside down?  Thanks!

Monday: Pure Intensity Training Class (cardio & endurance & weights) 

Tuesday: Strength Training 1 hr. with personal trainer

Wednesday:  4 miles on the treadmill

Thursday:  3 miles outdoors

Friday: REST

Saturday: REST

Sunday: REST
