Week 4 of Half Marathon Training | Recap

I really want a tank top that says "BEAST MODE" but I'm not sure I'd actually wear it to the gym.  I'm such a dork, I know!  I'm also on the hunt for a foam roller.  They have them at the gym and they are great for stretching.  I need one at home, too!  

Here's the training recap for week 4:

Monday: REST (I was still dealing with a sick kiddo)

Tuesday: Strength Training 1 hr. with personal trainer

Wednesday:  4.5 miles on the treadmill

Thursday:  Strength Training 1 hr. with personal trainer & 2 miles on the treadmill

Friday: 3 miles on the treadmill

Saturday: 5 miles on the treadmill

Sunday: REST


The weather is getting cooler so I want to start running 2 days a week outside in the next few weeks.  Running is still not my favorite exercise, but it's getting easier.  I'll probably be running about the same distance this week too and then increasing my long runs in week 6! YIKES!!!  The thought of running for over 6 miles is daunting, so I just try not to think about it....

I'm going back to my normal Paleo eating ways, but this weekend was still tough. Weekends always are, right?  Well, here's to good health and kickin' it beast mode at the gym this week!
