Half Marathon Training Recap | Week 1

Well, I did ya'll!  I completed my 2nd Tough Mudder event on Sunday and I have so much to say about it and so many fun pictures to share, but it will have to wait till tomorrow ;) I know, I'm such a tease!!

I took the day off on Monday to recover and relax a bit, but I'm back at it again today.  I made it to the gym and had a nice full body workout with my trainer, Ashley (She rocks!) She didn't push me too hard this session, which I was thankful for!  Anyhow, I'm back to posting half marathon training recaps.  These will be on Mondays, but remember I was off yesterday, so here goes:

Monday:  Pure Intensity Training Class

Tuesday: REST

Wednesday:  Pure Intensity Training Class

Thursday: 20 min Stretch 

Friday: REST

Saturday: REST 

Sunday: Tough Mudder (10 mile obstacle course race)

It sure doesn't look like much, but with Tough Mudder on Sunday, I didn't want to be sore from running or working out before the event, so I rested a lot beforehand.  I'll be doing a lot more running from here on out until the Bryce Canyon Half Marathon in July!
