Half Marathon Training Recap | Week 2

Well, last week went a little better than week 1, but recovering from Tough Mudder took longer than I expected!  I'm still working on getting back into a running routine and I really struggled the first part of the week, but I had a great running weekend!  I'm pretty confident this week will go as planned!  Here's the recap for Week 2:

Monday:  Day after Tough Mudder - Rest Day :)

Tuesday: 60 min. of strength training with my trainer.  

Wednesday:  REST - I had every intention of working out, but just couldn't bring myself to it.  Plus, I was so busy with work that I focused on catching up on that.

Thursday: 3 mile run + stretch - I ran on the treadmill and was hating it, but ended up doing great halfway through and finished in under 30 minutes!  

Friday: REST

Saturday: Race for the Cure 5K (I'll be blogging about the race in more detail tomorrow, so be sure to come on back!)

Sunday: 5.50 mile trail run with running group at Red Rock Canyon.  So happy the weather was overcast and breezy!  Trail runs are always so much more challenging that road running, but also a ton of fun.
