Before I go into the week, let me say Congrats to Brandi, the winner of my Spartan Up book giveaway! Brandi will be inspired to run her first Spartan Race in no time!
As for me and my half marathon training, I'm happy it's almost over! Just 10 more days!!!! Running in the Vegas heat is no joke, even at 6am! My next half marathon (if there is one) will be in winter, so I can train in the fall when the weather is perfect!
Monday: 9.85 mile run (slow & steady)
Tuesday: 3 mile run + 20 min abs
Wednesday: 45 min in-home Spartan Workout. I couldn't make it to the gym and I almost didn't workout, but then I decided to put my big girl panties on and at least do something! So, I did a good workout at home, focusing on upper body strength training.
Thursday: 1 hr. Strength Training Session with Personal Trainer
Friday: - 4.5 mile run. 2 on treadmill & 2.5 on indoor track at the gym
Saturday: (REST) Photographed a wedding, so I was on my feet for 8 hrs!
Total Miles: 17.35 miles
