Howdy! Here I am sharing yet another set of monthly fitness goals!
With the Disneyland Half Marathon a month away, I'll be running lots to prepare for it this month, so the 50 mile goal should be reachable! I'm a little behind on my training schedule, but I'm confident I'll be ok. I'm not looking to PR, as I really want to enjoy my first Disney race course and take a few photos with the characters along the way :)
Drinking more water and eating better is always a struggle, especially on the weekends when I'm out and about. Can't forget to carry my water bottle everywhere I go and make sure to eat my healthy meals before running errands and such. We'll be going away for a fun family beach trip later this month, plus it's our wedding anniversary on the 28th so it's going to be a challenge. But unlike June where I used our San Francisco trip as an excuse, I will not make the same mistake. Pinky promise ;)
Getting the kids more active is a definite not just for this month, but for the long term. We try to stay pretty active, but there's always room for more. We'll be getting outside for family jogs and kid bootcamps lots more this month and as the weather starts to cool off for sure!
